The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be playing their first away game of the season, against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati in less than 48 hours from now.

Ahead of their first away encounter, Aussie power-hitter Tim David, who dropped a showdown straight from the cricketing folklore, opened up on how good the city of Bengaluru was.

Talking on RCB Bold Diaries, David opened up on how good Bengaluru was while also adding how the fans turned up in numbers, pumping up the energy in the stands. He also dropped a message about how playing away from home will be a crucial point in RCB’s journey after a clean record last year.

David said, “We loved being in Bangalore. We had a great time. We got to know so well here at the hotel, so sad to be leaving. The fans have been great. It's been a whole season since we last saw you, and you've guys brought the energy, so it's really nice to keep us going.”

Adding further on the kind of pressure RCB might be in ahead of their first away game, David added, “I know we've had a couple of good matches, two wins on the board is a great start, and I think just everyone in the team is going to contribute, so looking forward to seeing that over the next few games. Well, the pressure's on. I don't think we lost an away game last year, so, you know, we're off to Guwahati, which is a beautiful place, and then on to Mumbai for a couple of challenging games, and let's see what happens.”
