RCB completed their quest for the second WPL crown as they bested the Delhi Capitals in a high-octane finale.

Iconic performances in the summit clash from Smriti Mandhana, Georgia Voll and Lauren Bell sealed the second WPL title for the Royal Challengers.

RCB Head Coach, Malolan Rangarajan, concluded the season with a vision for the future and a message for the upcoming year.

Talking on RCB’s post-match dressing room chat, RCB head coach, Malolan said, “We won the league race, we won the WPL. Great, tremendous special achievement. We're going to be back next year again. So what are we looking forward to? No teams have won the WPL back to back. I guess I have got that from the IPL. But when we come back next year, there will be two stars on our jersey. We're chasing the third star next year.”

He concluded by saying, “That's what we're looking forward to. We don't talk about winning titles. I've said it once and this will be the only time I say it. Next year when we come back, we're looking to get three stars on our jersey. So that's the aim for next year. Again, thank you so much. Very well done, WPL champions.”
