Compliments of the Season…

Happy Diwali season greetings to all our wonderful fans and readers of our blog. We hope your festivities with family and friends were cherished and enjoyed. Now that we feel “refreshed/cleansed”, lets move forward again together.

‘If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself. All you have to do is never stop’.

Never stop “what” I hear you ask?

Never stop…working towards fulfilling a vision/goal, attaining and exceeding targets, planning, communicating etc.

Corporate seasoning. We informed you our loyal fans first, of our Corporate Cricket Championship. This coveted championship will feature leading corporate teams and will be held this month across multiple grounds in the city with the grand finale scheduled on the 24th November. RCB has been investing in, developing and promoting the sport of cricket consistently and successfully through its RC-KSCA Academy for a few years now. The introduction of the RCB Corporate Cricket Championship is another initiative from the RCB lifestyle stable and we are able to use it to reach out to a wider audience. With this extension of the RCB lifestyle brand, we will continue to make RCB and Bangalore a “city of choice” for both corporates and fans alike.

The event has been created in partnership with SPOMENT Ventures Pvt Ltd. Mr. Ashok Karanth, Director of Spoment said “We will work closely with RCB to make this the most exciting corporate cricket tournament in the world. We begin with a limited number of entries for the inaugural year and it will be on a first come first serve basis.” The Championship is open to all corporate organizations with offices in Bangalore. All players must be fulltime employees of the company. Each team may have a maximum of 15 members (11 players + 4 reserves).

The teams will be divided into groups playing three 10-over games each in the league phase. The winners from each of the groups qualify for the second phase involving knock-outs. The quarterfinals, semi-finals and final will be held in the T20 format. The grand finals of the tournament will be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. This will be the first time a regular weekend cricketer and cricket fan will have the opportunity to play in the same ground that has witnessed many a legend play.

RCB will endeavour to make it a unique event with a slew of innovations as part of “Experience the RCB Way” motto to give the participants an unmatched experience. For queries please contact Adarsh on +91 9632600589.
