So near, yet so far

We saw it all this IPL! Great catches. Out-of-the-stadium batting.Tight bowling. Sadly, it was not to be. Once again we missed out narrowly on qualifying for the playoffs.

However, all champions have to absorb losses. And all champions keep on playing until they get it right. While the trophy may have eluded us (for now), RCB once again produced many magical moments during IPL 6.

Awesome month of great entertainment and near heart attacks!

From congratulating AB de Villiers on his recent marriage, the glittering Pepsi IPL opening ceremony in Kolkata, another green award (IAA Silver Award) for RCB to new external partners, last ball encounters, super overs and world records. What more can you ask for from your favourite franchise and cricket team in the world? RCB rocks!

RCB Divas and Fans unite!

We welcome Murali Kartik to our squad for 2013 after a successful trade with Pune Warriors India. Ray Jennings our head coach is in Bangalore and raring to go in helping our squad prepare for the Pepsi IPL action, only a matter of days away.

RCB fans call to action!

The recent Pepsi IPL player auction produced some exciting results. We now have a solid foundation for the roll out of our 2013 playing affairs strategy. We used the Pepsi IPL 2013 auction as an opportunity to strengthen our bowling line-up and add capable all-rounders to increase the amount of flexibility in the selection of the playing squad.

Happy 2013…it’s time to look ahead!

The first month of the year is over and it has not been without its moments.

We start the year saying good-bye and thank you to Anil Kumble for his wonderful mentorship and experience over the past 5 years with RCB. We wish him well at Mumbai Indians and in his business interests going forward.
