Sheldon Jackson

Sheldon Jackson is a right hand wicket-keeper batsman from Saurashtra. He made his first class debut in 2011 against Railways and enjoyed a prolific 2012-13 Ranji season for Saurashtra, cementing his place in the senior side after years of impressive work put in the Saurashtra (U-14 to U-22) and West Zone (U-19) age group teams.
He is a patient batsman who has the ability to shift gears once set. Jackson was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad for the 2009-10 seasons, but did not play any game.
His batting in 2012-13 put Saurashtra on the winning mode and they reached their first Ranji final since 1937-38. Showing fluency and often putting the opposition under pressure, he finished with 756 runs this season with three hundreds and four fifties to his name.
