Sunny Sohal

Sunny Sohal is an attacking right hand batsman from Punjab. He made his first class debut in 2005 but questions over his temperament mean he has been considered more of a limited overs specialist.
He played infrequently for the Kings XI Punjab in the first 3 seasons of the IPL before he was picked up by the Deccan Chargers in 2011. Regular opportunities there saw Sohal notch up two fifties and justify his talent. He did not get any games in 2012 though and was released when the franchise was taken charge of by their new owners.
At RCB he could either be an explosive partner for Mayank Agarwal or Chris Gayle at the top of the order.

IPL Highlights

DD vs DC Sunny Sohal made an impressive 62 against an attack of Morne Morkel, Ashok Dinda and Irfan Pathan, giving the Chargers a great start after they had won the toss and chose to bat first. Deccan easily defended their total and Sohal was named Player of the Match.
