“RCB are one of the favourites in IPL 7. With a solid batting line-up and bowling too, I think we can make it. The team has been outstanding in the previous seasons but couldn't go all the way. I can see the chances this time. I think Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh are enough to win the maiden title for Royal Challengers Bangalore,” said Warrier. “Yuvraj is one of the most destructive batsmen in the world. When he is in form, no one can stop him.”
On questioned about his role in the side, Warrier seemed pretty hopeful. “I was selected in RCB team last year. I was pretty excited but didn't get a chance. This time, hopefully, I will get a chance to play. It will be exciting to bowl alongside Ashok Dinda and Varun Aaron.”
Sandeep Warrier is a young fast bowler from Kerala, who has a good domestic Ranji season behind his back. With the promise and potential he has, coupled with guidance from some of the best in the game including Allan Donald, Warrier could well be the surprise performer for RCB this season.
