RCB fans call to action!
The recent Pepsi IPL player auction produced some exciting results. We now have a solid foundation for the roll out of our 2013 playing affairs strategy. We used the Pepsi IPL 2013 auction as an opportunity to strengthen our bowling line-up and add capable all-rounders to increase the amount of flexibility in the selection of the playing squad.

Gearing up for IPL 6
Russell Adams is back with the latest news on what’s happening at RCB. As always RCBians continued to shine with their impeccable performances on both levels, domestic as well as international. Cheteshwar Pujara easily the man of the moment with 2 consecutive centuries in the ongoing series against England. Recently, Virat Kohli bagged the prestigious Polly Umrigar award; Vijay Zol also won the best U-19 cricketer award.
Success and Reward…
“What you put in is what you’ll get out” is what they say. This could not be more true than for Cheteshwar Pujara who celebrated again recently but this time with a maiden double test hundred (206*) against England in the 1st Test. He then followed it up with another hundred in the 2nd Test. Well done Puj!
IPL 2013 preparations and a lot more!
We are only 5 months away from the next edition of IPL and we have just witnessed an excellent Champions League Twenty20 in South Africa. I’m sure you’ll agree that watching Dirk Nannes perform with the ball for the Highveld Lions was enjoyable and made you feel proud.
What's happening at RCB?
Russell Adams is back with inside RCB news. The T20 World Cup just ended and we are ready for more cricket. In his latest blog Russell writes about the upcoming Champion's League and it hurts him that RCB isn't playing. He also talks about RCBians playing other team whose performances we can look forward to.
From one world class cricket event to another
The Champions League T20 starts in South Africa this week! I would be lying if I said I was not hurting while writing this newsletter. You will recall that RCB missed out on qualifying for this event by the narrowest of margins. I am sure it hurts you, our loyal fans, just as much as it hurts me. However we took many lessons from IPL5 and look forward to the new season with renewed energy and exciting plans.
The T20 bug bites again...World Cup cricket on our doorstep!
The ICC Twenty20 Cricket World Cup is upon us. Even better…it is on our doorstep…hosted by Sri Lanka. On behalf of the RCB owners, management and staff, we express our best wishes to all RCB players who are representing their countries at this major global event. We also wish our fans a safe journey and a memorable experience if you are planning on going.
Happy Independence Day to you!
Just like you, we cannot wait for India’s home season to kick off! Russell Adams writes about the exciting month gone by with exploits from Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and especially from the two fastest men at the London Olympics: Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake who expressed their interest in playing T20 cricket.
Happy Independence Day!
On behalf of the RCB owners, management and staff, we express our heartfelt RCB passion in wishing all RCB fans well in their Independence Day celebrations. And with August marking international women’s month, we also take this opportunity to wish our many female fans a very special Women’s month.
Greenaissance launched!
Anil Kumble and Russell Adams launched Greenaissance on World Environmental Day on Tuesday 5th June at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Russell writes to RCB fans
As die hard fans of RCB we all have a lot to talk about the season we've just had in IPL 5.
Is the ride over?
The RCB IPL5 2012 roller coaster ride and our passionate exploits to achieve “champion” status are sadly over– at least for this year. You, our loyal fans, have stood by us each step – on the “UPS” and the “DOWNS”. We thank you for your die-hard support. It is truly appreciated.
Are you Enjoying the Ride?
We are in the middle of the IPL roller coaster carnival! Are you enjoying the ride so far? I hope you have not been disappointed by the unfolding RCB attractions - both on and off the field. For every stress, challenge, victory or defeat we face, we draw inspiration from each one of you - our loyal and passionate fans.
Message from RCB Team Management
Fellow RCB fans…I am delighted to pen the first of many messages to you as we start the countdown to IPL 5... You’ll notice that we have incorporated our flame theme into the new look of our website as it symbolizes the “fire from within” and the passion that RCB players, management and fans display – on and off the field.

So near, yet so far!
Though IPL 2013 saw some great performances by team RCB on the field, missing out on the playoffs was disappointing indeed says RCB VP, Russell Adams. He believes that RCB can take positives from the 5th place finish this season and try and bounce back in the next edition.
