Yogesh Takawale made his first-class debut in 2005-06. In October 2006, he scored a 50 against the Australians in a warm-up match ahead of the Champions Trophy and followed that form into the Ranji Trophy, with 351 runs at 50.14. His Ranji highest score remains 212 runs
He was picked up by Mumbai Indians for the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League and this year he will play alongside Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle in RCB. With such a fine talent in the side, the audience will be privy to some magnanimous hitting.
