An attacking right-handed batsman, Kedar Jadhav was once a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore development and burst into the limelight with a match winning 50 off just 29 balls on his IPL debut.

Jadhav proved himself as a solid batsman, finishing as the highest run-getter in 2013-14 season of Ranji Trophy, helping Maharashtra reach their first final in 21 years. His consistency and the great form in the Ranji Trophy continued, earning him a place in the national squad.

Recognized as a natural T20 player, Jadhav was part of India's tour of Bangladesh in 2014 but did not get a chance to play. He played his first international match in November 2014 against Sri Lanka. His first international century came on the tour of Zimbabwe in 2015 when he made a match-winning 105* of 110 balls against the hosts at Harare.
