About

Manan Vohra is an exciting batting talent to have emerged from the Punjab domestic circuit. He's an elegant opener and is highly rated by former Royal Challenger Yuvraj Singh. He has been piling on the runs in age cricket. A member of the U-19 WC winning team led by Umnukt Chand, he was snapped up by KXIP in 2013 and made an unbeaten 43 on debut, playing for Mohali franchise.

Though his campaign was promising more than outstanding, his credentials and talent was unquestionable which led to him being retained ahead of the 2014 IPL season. Manan's accumulation of runs for Punjab in domestic cricket has earmarked him for brighter things to come in the future and has forced the selectors to keep a closer eye on his performances. A 343 run partnership with Yuvraj Singh saw Manan pile up 224 to help his team register 670 against Baroda in the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy season was a standout innings from the youngster. He has only grown from strength to strength and over the years, as he has matured, his performances have taken an upward turn. In VIVO IPL 2017, he struck his career best 95 playing against SRH. Ahead of VIVO IPL 2018, RCB paid INR 1.1 Crores for his services and are confident in his abilities to shine for the Bold at the top of the order.
