27 year old Milind Kumar played all his junior cricket for Delhi, before moving to Sikkim at the start of the 2018-19 Domestic season. The move did him wonders as he has already notched up 1000 runs in the Ranji Trophy. A 2nd double hundred was followed by a knock of 133 against Uttarakhand in what could have been a record-breaking 3rd double century. He's in the middle of a dream 2018-19 First Class season. An abundance of available talent meant in Delhi restricted his playing opportunities and changing teams would seem to be the best option at that time. He moved to Sikkim at the beginning of this season, deciding that he had to look for newer pastures.
He assumed a senior role at Sikkim and has found consistency ever since. The fact that he has added 40% to his First Class career runs in the 2018-19 season is testimony to the kind of maturity that has seeped into him. If given an opportunity, let's hope that he carries on the same vein of form. He was acquired for his base price of INR 20 Lakh.
