Every game is different – Krunal Pandya on RCB’s preparation against CSK
As the Royal Challengers Bengaluru gear up for their second contest in IPL 2026, it comes against the formidable Chennai Super Kings. Despite a couple of losses, CSK remains a salient threat to any team in the tournament and RCB will go all in to nullify the challenge. Ahead of the clash, RCB’s seasoned all-rounder, Krunal Pandya opened up about the Royal Challengers taking an all-hands-on-deck approach for this important challenge.
Talking on the latest episode of RCB Gameday, Krunal Pandya said, “Everyone is doing their role and again how (Jacob) Duffy came in his first game and you know, not easy against the quality batting side like SRH, you know, to get those top three wickets up there, you know, that put us in a driving seat.”
Explaining how RCB will take things one clash at a time, Pandya added, “Every game is important. Every game you have to go out there and play good cricket for 40 overs. I guess the process and playbook and how we plan, how we execute under pressure remains the same. Every game is different and we'll again look to build on the first game which was a fun and take that positive to the second game.”
He concluded with a message for the fans, stating, “It will full of Red in Bangalore. Whatever I say is very less about how RCB’s 12th Man army and how they have supported us again and again. Hoping to turn this stadium into red and hoping to see the backing of fans as always, like how you guys have backed us. Hoping that we give you a good show against CSK.”
