Cricket Australia [CA] has reportedly postponed the home T20I series against West Indies. The visitors were slated to play in Townsville, Cairns, and the Gold Coast on October 4,6, and 9 respectively.

The three-match T20I series was supposed to be a dress rehearsal for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup. With the ICC postposing the showpiece event, there was no context for the series to happen as scheduled. Bill Pippen Oval, located in the Gold Coast, was set to host its debut international game. The ground will have to wait further to witness the landmark occasion.

Uncertainty looms over India's T20I series against Australia

India are set to tour Australia later this year for a long summer. The T20I series, however, is unlikely to take place, citing the fact that it coincides with the fixtures of Indian Premier League.
