A list of all the records broken by Team India after their ICC Champions Trophy triumph

As India stormed through the gates of history, a flurry of records were created last night in Dubai. From being the team with the crown of the ICC Champions Trophy a record number of times to a phenomenal run in the ICC tournaments of late, the Men in Blue reigned supreme.

Here is a quick list of the numbers and feats that India achieved last night in Dubai.

·      India became the team with the maximum number of ICC Champions Trophy (2013, 2025). The 2002 edition of the tournament was shared between India and Sri Lanka, thereby taking them above Australia who also has two titles to themselves.

·      India have won 23 matches out of the last 24 in the ICC white-ball tournaments, encompassing the likes of ICC Cricket World Cup, T20 World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy.

·      India stayed unbeaten throughout the tournament, thereby chronicling five more wins to their name, which took their overall winning tally in the CT to 23 from the 34 games that they played. The closest a team has come to India is Australia with 15 wins in the tournament.

·      India registered their 10th win in Dubai which levelled their tally with New Zealand of winning most ODI matches in a venue without a defeat. The Blackcaps hold a record of 10 wins in Dunedin.
