Chris Morris eyes an International return for South Africa

Chris Morris was recently bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the 2020 IPL Auction for a whopping sum of INR 10 Crores. The 32-year-old is a seasoned campaigner and has vast experience in playing T20 cricket all around the world. He is widely known for his bowling in the death overs and is also capable of clearing the fence with his hard-hitting abilities.

Chris Morris is currently a free agent and has currently made himself available for selection. He hopes that he could make a comeback for his national side soon. The all-rounder did not get his contract renewed in 2019 but has the vision to get featured for the Proteas in the near future. He wants selectors to take note of his work and reward him with a place in the squad for South Africa's upcoming tours.

“There is no reason that I wouldn’t want to play for South Africa,” said Chris Morris.

Chris Morris wants to prove his worth by performing at the highest level for RCB in the forthcoming IPL season.

RCB could possibly be his gateway for the T20 World Cup

“Hopefully it happens after the IPL this year, but I have never insisted on being selected,” added Chris Morris.

Chris Morris wants to fight for a spot in the Proteas squad. And he clearly has set his objective to represent South Africa at the T20 World Cup which is scheduled later this year.
