Everything is going perfectly – Kuldeep Yadav reacts on his match-winning performance against UAE

Kuldeep Yadav emerged as the star of the show for Team India as they ran riot against a tactically undercooked UAE in the Men in Blue’s opening encounter of Asia Cup 2025.

With a spell that boasted numbers of 2.1-0-7-4, he shattered the spine of the batting unit and knitted together a web of mystery that left UAE with no answers.

It all started with the crucial wicket of Rahul Chopra, opening the floodgates for India. This was followed by the scalp of the UAE captain, Muhammad Waseem. He added two more to his repertoire, besting the likes of Harshit Kaushik and Haider Ali. Talking at the post-match presentation, Kuldeep underlined the importance of the fitness training that he put in recently while decoding the factor that proved to be the unspooling of UAE.

Shedding light on his fitness training, Yadav said, “Thanks to Adrian (le Roux) the trainer. Was working on my bowling and my fitness as well, everything is going perfectly.”

He shed further light on what was the plot that worked wonders for him, adding, “Tried to hit the right length and it matters a lot, reading the batters on what they are trying to do. Even today as well, reacting to what the batters would do on the next ball.”
