In less than a few hours’ time, RCB will be locking horns against Punjab Kings in a swashbuckling clash to kickstart their home run. It wasn’t a memorable outing for Faf and company in the opener as they slumped down to Chennai Super Kings. For Punjab, it was a glory outing, surging past Delhi Capitals in the curtain-raiser of the fray.

Ahead of the all-important clash, there were a few important pointers that were being talked about at length by the RCB players in the latest RCB Bold Diaries video.

Captain Faf du Plessis said, “It feels amazing again. Our first game was in Chennai and there was a big Chennai crowd there. You could feel the presence. They were their crowd. This is also one of our strengths. We are coming home and we have great fans. Looking forward to batting here again. It’s a great place to bat. Our boys are really ready to start with a W as well.”

He further added, “Looking at how you maximize speeds and better strength, I would be the entry point of the game. I don’t think it is going to be the same for every game. I would like certain batters to be real strengths at parts of the game.”

Cameron Green said, “Everyone knows that this is a beautiful batting wicket. We know the outfield is quick and I am sure that we will be high scoring.”

Talking about the fans, he said, “It is very exciting. This is the first time that I am experiencing this as an RCB player. I’m really excited. I have heard all games, it is loud, there’s always chatter, there’s always screaming, there’s always chanting, so yeah looking forward to it.”
