The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced the latest player rankings of T20 Internationals (T20Is). India skipper Virat Kohli, who is also the highest run-getter in T20Is, has retained fifth position in the newly released T20I rankings. At sixth, KL Rahul is the second-highest placed Indian with 728 ratings. Despite missing the T20I series against Sri Lanka, both players have held onto their positions.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is second on the list. With 833 points, he is just 8 points behind Malan. Among the bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the highest placed Indian. Following his match-winning performance against Lanka in the first T20I, the Meerut-born pacer has climbed to 16th position.

Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal's economical performance in the first T20I has moved him up 10 places to 21st, while Sri Lankan leggie Wanindu Hasaranga has surpassed Rashid Khan to attain a career-best second place. Deepak Chahar has also broken into the top 50 with 517 rating points.
