The Royal Challengers Bengaluru gear up for one final challenge as they will be taking on the Delhi Capitals in the grand finale in WPL 2026. The stakes are higher than before and as the spoils have been shared for this rivalry with both sides winning one game apiece this year in the group stages against each other, one can expect this to be another high-octane clash.

Talking on the RCB Game Day, Head Coach Malolan Rangarajan opened up on the big game ahead. He talked at length about the run throughout the tournament while highlighting how RCB is placed mentally for this summit clash.

Malo said, “It's really been a very good season. Especially, how it has transpired until the final now. Couple of things that come straight away to mind are the first five back-to-back victories we had, had set a standard for us in the tournament and also we spoke about a statement start.”

He further added, “The best thing was that different kinds of players put their hands up with batting or bowling, especially on the field, something that we genuinely wanted to pride ourselves on.”

Shedding light on RCB’s bowling unit, Malo added, “As far as our bowling is concerned, we have had options, attacking options in all three phases of the game. They have worked very closely with Anya. In fact, she has also worked very closely with the bowlers.”

He concluded by saying, “It is important to acknowledge that it is a final. The girls have displayed and demonstrated why we have qualified first. So they absolutely deserve it.”
