They have been clubbed alongside UAE, Pakistan and Oman in Group A of the tournament and notably, the top two teams from the group will qualify for the Super Four.

The tournament kickstarts tomorrow, September 8th, with a Geoup B clash between Afghanistan and Hong Kong which is to be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

This will be followed by India taking the yard for the first time on Wednesday, September 9th, as they will be locking horns against UAE at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Men in Blue will return to action on Sunday where they will take on arch-rivals, Pakistan, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 14th September.

India’s final group stage encounter will be against Oman on the 19th of September, hosted by the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

If India qualify for the Super Fours, they will take the ‘A1 slot’. In that scenario, the A1 vs A2 match will be on September 21st, A1 vs B2 on September 24th and A1 vs B1 on September 26th. All the Super 4 clashes will be hosted by the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

All of India’s matches will start at 8 PM IST.

The final of the Asia Cup 2025 will be held on Sunday, 28th September in Dubai, starting at 8 PM IST.

There will be a lot to look forward to as the Men in Blue will be pinning their hopes on what is an extremely young brigade. With Suryakumar Yadav leading the side, India will be eager to dish out a power-packed performance in the Asia Cup, a precursor to the upcoming T20 World Cup in February 2026.
