It's a privilege to play at the Chinnaswamy – Phil Salt ahead of home clash against LSG
In less than a few hours, RCB will be taking on the Lucknow Super Giants at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have managed to secure three wins from their first four games and will be heading into this game on the back of an away win against the Mumbai Indians.
This is RCB’s third home game of the season as they have already brushed aside two of their southern rivals, SRH and CSK at the Chinnaswamy. With Lucknow all set to challenge their supremacy at home, RCB’s spin bowling coach and player identification manager, Malolan Rangarajan, and RCB opener, Phil Salt opened up on what it is to be playing at the Chinnaswamy.
Talking on RCB Game Day and shedding light on the home factor, Malo said, “It is lovely to play here at the Chinnaswamy with the fans around. But that's what this, as always, always going to be like, go back to the drawing board, what does it take to win at the Chinnaswamy, how do we want to play and that's what the boys have been doing this evening.”
Salt added, “Every time you get to play at the Chinnaswamy in front of our home crowd, it's a privilege to play (in Chinnaswamy) and there's nowhere like it.”
