Key bit is getting back on track – Mo Bobat ahead of RCB’s match against KKR
As RCB resume their IPL season with a game at home against the reigning champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, it is going to be a tricky contest for the Royal Challengers.
They will be hopeful of restarting the remainder of the campaign on a high which might be a colossal stride ahead of the upcoming play-offs in terms of the points table and from a momentum perspective too.
RCB’s Director of cricket, Mo Bobat explained how the team has gotten into the zone after the break.
Bobat said, “You know when you have a break like this, the key bit is getting back on track and getting back into your routines. We were in a really good place before the break. So the key bit is capturing that again and getting back to that. So we’re not looking too far ahead. We’re looking at the next game against KKR and we want to do that well.”
He continued, “So as we normally do before a game, a couple of days out, we try to speak to the players, batting groups and bowling groups, and do our tactical prep. Fair to say that the boys were energized coming together again. It was nice seeing everybody again. Good atmosphere, good attitude amongst the groups. Everyone’s really focused on the job in hand. They want to finish this season and this campaign well. They want to finish in the top two. So the boys are really focused.”
