New Beginnings ft. Royal Challengers Bangalore
As they say, ‘a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,’ and we the Royal Challengers Bangalore have embarked on a new beginning. Just before the start of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League, we decided to draw your attention towards a new beginning.
On February 11th 2020, something unusual happened, we created chaos! All posts from RCB’s Instagram account and profile pictures from all social media platforms disappeared overnight, leaving our own players and supporters baffled. All mainstream media platforms, especially our followers on Twitter and Instagram wanted to know what was really going on? We did what we do best, sending social media into a frenzy!
New Decade New RCB
In the midst of all the chaos, while fans were wondering what was happening, we decided to leave them guessing with a few cryptic posts. On February 14th, we put an end to all the speculations.
We finally revealed the new Royal Challengers Bangalore logo and the jersey for the 2020 season, embodying the bold pride and the challenger spirit, unleashing the rampant Lion and returning him to the Royal lineage. A New Decade, A New RCB.
Speaking at the launch of the new bold logo, Mr Sanjeev Churiwala, Chairman of Royal Challengers Bangalore, said, “The elements in the logo is a commitment to continuously entertain and engage with fans who are the force behind Royal Challengers Bangalore.”
Adding further to what he said, Mr Sanjeev Churiwala stated, “We believe a change in identity for the club was necessary to effectively live and breathe this vision and celebrate the passion for cricket and playing bold.”
And we were not done just yet.
RCB Bar and Café
We also unveiled the logo for our new lifestyle offering in Bangalore, The RCB Bar & Cafe. Launching ahead of the upcoming IPL season, it is an exclusive hangout where you can join the RCB players and the Bold Army and celebrate life responsibly.
