Rajat Patidar to lead Rest of India squad in Irani Trophy; Shreyas Iyer to captain India A against Australia A

BCCI have tweaked the squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series between India A and Australia A as Shreyas Iyer was named as the new skipper of the side. Rajat Patidar was due to lead India A as per the squad named at first, but he will instead captain the Rest of India squad against Ranji Trophy champions Vidarbha in the Irani Cup starting October 1st.
Apart from Tilak Varma returning to the squad for the second and third ODI, the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana who are part of the ongoing Asia Cup squad will also be a part of the squad for the last two ODIs, in place of Priyansh Arya and Simarjeet Singh.
