The Indian Premier League has grown from strength to strength ever since its inception and a lot of players across the globe want a chunk of the tournament for themselves. As the buzz for the latest edition of the IPL grows stronger than ever, there was a new name available in the mix from the distant shores of Australia who could be a major attraction in the upcoming auction, Cameron Green.

Green was hugely successful against India in the recently concluded bilateral series as he peppered the Indian bowlers to various nooks and crannies of the park while stitching together a string of impressive shots that left the Indian fans in awe. Talking on the Unplayable Podcast, Green said, “I have registered for it. It will be an exciting opportunity.”

The Australian hard-hitter further added, “Speaking to a lot of guys, especially in the WA (Western Australia) set up about their experiences in the IPL, they speak so highly of it. They speak about the quality coaches that you are around, the quality players that you are around. They are all the best in the world at their craft. It is a craft that I have not been exposed to too much. I am so open to wanting to learn as much as I can and that is probably one of the best environments to learn in.”

Cameron Green has been making all the right noises ahead of the IPL auction after piling up 118 runs from three games back in India, and most importantly the strike rate of 214.55 at which he brought out the big guns left the fans in wonder about the all-rounder.
