The only thing that matters now is being present – Jacob Bethell

As the Royal Challengers Bengaluru return to action against Mumbai Indians in Raipur in less than 24 hours, all eyes will be on Rajat Patidar and company as they desperately hope to return to winning ways. With a couple of losses despite incredible fightbacks, RCB will be hopeful of changing the dynamics as the top position remains up for grabs.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference before the Mumbai Indians clash, RCB’s Starboy, Jacob Bethell, discussed the dugout mentality and shared insights learned from two consecutive losses.

Bethell said, “There is no shying away from the fact that we have lost two games in a row. We have reflected on them and there are areas where we were not at our best. But the only thing that matters now is being present for that first ball in the next game.”

Explaining what can work out for them, Bethell added, “If we are able to do that and adapt quickly, our best is very good and we have got more than enough in the dressing room to walk away with four points here.”
