In little over 24 hours from now, Bengaluru will play host to high octane cricket as part of the Southern El Clasico of IPL in which the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be locking horns with Chennai Super Kings.

In a special episode of the RCB Insider, Virat Kohli spoke about the IPL 2025 title win and what it felt like.

Defining victory, Virat said, “Victory is the accumulation of hard work, all the sacrifices you've made to, you know, be committed to the sport. It all comes together as an assurance, a reward, to know that you haven't wasted your time. A lot of people learn from losses, but a lot of people get very disheartened as well. So when you win after a lot of hard work, it makes you feel a sense of justice to the work that you've put in and also gives you motivation to work harder.”

Revealing what it felt like to win the IPL trophy, Virat said, “I have heard this statement or this saying for years, ‘get the monkey off the back’ and that is what I really felt that night. Everything became very light.”
