Andy Flower on how RCB are “very motivated” ahead of KKR clash
RCB is all set to rock and roll once again as they take on the Kolkata Knight Riders at home in what is going to be the resumption of IPL 2025 after a brief hiatus.
A win for RCB will almost cement their position in the playoffs and will place them in a good spot for a top-two finish.
Talking on RCB Game Day, head coach Andy Flower opened up on the potential challenges of the pause while also underlining how well prepared the team is.
Andy said, “Coming back from the break, I don’t think it’s been a terrible thing for us even though we had such momentum in the tournament. It’s given Rajat a little bit of time to recover from his hand injury, it’s given Salt a chance to recover from his illness and he looks sharp again in practice.”
He further added, “We had a meeting back at HQ in Bengaluru and my sense in the group is re-energized and they are very motivated to have a strong finish to the league stages. We respect KKR as opponents of course. You know they had such a great season last year. They have got some very dangerous players. We will have to be right on top of our game to take them down and that’s our intention.
