Life has come a full circle – Mayank Agarwal opens up on his RCB homecoming
Mayank Agarwal will be returning to RCB after 12 long years, with the right-hander picked as Devdutt Padikkal’s replacement for the remainder of IPL 2025.
Over the years, Mayank has garnered some serious experience while proving himself to the world as one of the most reliable hard-hitters of the ball.
Talking on RCB Bold Diaries, Mayank Agarwal said, “Just very honoured and very happy to be back in RCB. This feels like life has come a full circle. I started here in 2011 and I am back here. Like you (Virat) said, God has his way of getting things done.”
He shifted his focus to Devdutt Padikkal, stating, “Dev, this part is for you. I thought you were batting really well and having watched you bat through the season was really nice to see. From where you were last year to where you’ve come, it is huge.”
Mayank then talked about the team, stating, “Just to the guys, being a Bangalorean, I have been following all of y’all and the kind of cricket that you have played, shows where we are in the points table. I just wish to come and add a little bit of icing to the cake that you guys have already sort of built.”
