Lungi is a great guy – Romario Shepherd opens up on pacer’s fascinating persona

South African fast bowler Lungi Ngidi offered a glimpse of the rampant fast-bowling spree that he can get on and leave his counterparts in absolute horror. Unfortunately, the Proteas quickster will not be a part of the ongoing IPL anymore as he has been called up for national duties, with South Africa taking on Australia in the World Test Championship final.

On an episode of RCB Bold Diaries, West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd opened up on how Lungi Ngidi brings the fire on the field and laughs off of it. He also wished the South African fast bowler immense luck for the upcoming battle of the mace in England.

Romario Shepherd said, “Lungi is a great guy, on and off the field. Have a very big personality. The way he carries himself, he’s actually a funny guy than you actually would think. The type of character that you bring on and off the field is very important, you know in our team environment and you know we’re going to miss you, dearly.
