Rajat Patidar to lead India A in first game of three-match ODI series against Australia A

BCCI announced the squad for India A that will feature in a three-match ODI series against Australia A, beginning on 30th September. RCB captain, Rajat Patidar, was named the India A skipper for the first game, with the stylish right-hander set to deputize for Tilak Varma in the other two ODIs.

The three-match series will kickstart at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur while the second and the third games will be played on October 3rd and 5th respectively.

With the Asia Cup concluding on September 28th, Varma will be joining the squad for the last two games and along with him,  Harshit Rana, Abhishek Sharma and Arshdeep Singh - all three of whom are in India's squad for the continental trophy, will be a part of the 15-member unit.

India A squad for the 1st one-day match: Rajat Patidar (Captain), Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Riyan Parag, Ayush Badoni, Suryansh Shedge, Vipraj Nigam, Nishant Sindhu, Gurjapneet Singh, Yudhvir Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Abhishek Porel (WK), Priyansh Arya, Simarjeet Singh.
