South African fast-bowling ace Lungi Ngidi made his presence felt for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Making his RCB debut against CSK, he claimed a crucial three-fer which played an important role in defining RCB’s win. Ahead of his departure for the upcoming WTC final, Ngidi spoke on what it felt like to be a part of RCB while also shedding light on who he’s going to miss the most.

Talking on RCB Bold Diaries, Lungi Ngidi said, “I have really enjoyed my time here. I am actually sad to be leaving but I think that one thing that RCB has done very well is making players feel valued. You know the first day, I arrived, I had a meeting with the coaches. They told me the reason why they have picked me for this team, what they would expect from me. And I think as a cricketer, it’s nice to hear that we are a very close-knit team. We have got a great overseas bunch, great Indian boys, it’s been really good.”

He further added, “I am definitely going to miss Rasikh. He is my bowling partner. Every practice session, I work together with him. Bethel, I have spent a lot of time with him. We were on the side for a bit, so I got to know him very well. Swapnil as well, you know we spent a lot of time on the side at training and yeah, those are the guys I am really going to remember and miss.
