Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed Zimbabwean pacer Blessing Muzarabani as a temporary replacement player in place of Lungi Ngidi, who is set to return to South Africa ahead of the final league stage game of the IPL 2025 season.

Notably, Ngidi will be available for RCB's next home game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on 23rd May before he joins his compatriots in their preparation for the World Test Championship final.

Muzarabani, a 6-foot-8-inch tall right-arm pacer is known to extract quite some bounce with him bowling from a steep angle. With 127 T20 wickets at an economy of just 7.24 - his numbers are even better in T20Is where he's picked up 78 wickets at an ER of only 7.02 - the Zimbabwean will undoubtedly add a lot of value to RCB's bowling unit.

With the temporary replacement player effective from May 26th, Muzarabani will be available for selection ahead of RCB's final league stage game of the season - against the Lucknow Super Giants - on May 27th.
