The T20 World Cup is almost around the corner and India will be hoping to launch a full-blown challenge for the title. Virat Kohli is going to be a key component of the Indian cricket team while his run in the IPL that saw him winning the Orange Cap will be a major catalyst for the side and the man himself.

Talking on Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik shed light on a handful of important factors and also underscored why playing for a nation isn’t as easy as you would think it is. DK said, “When you need to back up a tournament like IPL, playing for India can be the toughest thing.”

He further stated, “It takes time for the body and the mind to settle down. Immediately again push and go for another fast-paced tournament is not easy. There are very few who can do it and one amongst them is Virat Kohli. That version of Virat Kohli is a special one.”

Virat Kohli will be seen in action as India will be starting their T20 World Cup campaign with a clash against Ireland on 5th June, followed by a match against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9th. India will also be a part of a warm-up match against Bangladesh but Kohli has been rested from that game.
