To be honest, it never felt like anyone went away – Phil Salt on RCB’s return to action in IPL 2025
As RCB returns to action after a long time, they will be up against SRH in what can be another high-octane Southern Derby, and all eyes will be on Phil Salt. The man who has struck fear in the hearts of the opposition with that unchecked belligerence of his will once again be key to RCB’s attacking flair against SRH.
Talking on RCB Game Day ahead of their clash against SRH, Salt opened up on how a team-building activity kept the fun and the games going in the camp. Apart from that he also revealed the mood in the dressing room while emphasizing the importance of bringing the same energy to the park.
Salt said, “We had a pickleball tournament which was good fun. Andy shocked us all and ended up winning a flat screen TV.”
He then shifted his focus to the mood in the dugout, adding, “There’s a good mood in the camp. To be honest, it never felt like anyone went away. It doesn’t feel like we have been postponed. It’s like we are straight back into it and we’ve been having fun together. So, the important thing off the pitch is that you keep doing that to get back in the park. We’re all looking forward to it.”
