RCB continue push for top-two finish as SRH challenge looms
23 May, 2025 By Editor

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru eye for a top two finish as they take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their latest assignment. With eight wins from 12 matches (one washed out), they are currently in the second position. Their tally of 17 points is only bettered by the Gujarat Titans who sit at the top of the points table.

RCB continues to boast of an undefeated streak with four wins in their last five games. The last match for RCB against KKR was washed out with a ball being bowled. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be hopeful of putting up a fine show to continue their quest for a top 2 position while ailing in the eighth position, SRH will be hopeful of putting up a show that can uplift their spirits after what has been an extremely bumpy season so far.

Venue Watch

The surface at Ekana is a tentatively slower one which makes it highly conducive for the spinners. However, as the game progresses, dew comes into action and that will play a major factor in shaping up the scorecard. With the kind of firepower that both the teams come in with, one can expect this to be a decent enough scoring race.
